What a HUGE First Week!

In just seven days we have reached 92% of our funding goal. That’s massive! We have so much left to announce that we can’t help but feel that week two is going to blow your minds!  

Today, we’d like to highlight the JIM STARLIN BAT-O-GRAPH REWARD. Perhaps the most acclaimed of the Jim Starlin-Bernie Wrightson collaborations, BATMAN: THE CULT is widely seen as a landmark tale of the Caped Crusader. Best known for his cosmic tales, Starlin was equally at home writing street-level tales of Batman, and in his close friend Bernie Wrightson, found the perfect artistic partner. Sets of the complete original four-issue Prestige mini-series, autographed by Jim Starlin, are available for a pledge of $200 or more. The pledge level includes both physical and digital copies of Black Book: The Art of Jim Starlin and Mindgames.

We love revealing things, so we’d like to take a moment to reveal the first of five pieces that will be offered in the Jim Starlin Art Portfolio tier for $95. Check out all the full-color goodness of this gorgeous Dreadstar image by Jim Starlin!

We'll be revealing each piece in the portfolio as the campaign continues, so check back here often as we strive toward our initial goal, and then look toward stretch goals.

If you want to meet with Jim and chat about his legendary career, as well as this Kickstarter campaign, you can go and see him this Saturday and Sunday at BoroughCon in the Brooklyn Expo Center, Brooklyn, NY. Whoa! What a tremendous first day!

Thanks so much to everyone who pledged! Thanks to your efforts, we’ve reached 50% of our funding goal in less than 24 hours! That’s huge! The Jim Starlin Collection is immensely important to us, and we couldn’t be more excited to be bringing the Black Book: The Art of Jim Starlin and Mindgames: A Hardcore Station Story to the world.

For those of you wondering about stretch goals, we promise we haven’t forgotten. We’re putting extra care into this campaign, and we’ll be sharing our amazing stretch goal plans as we near our initial funding goal.

For those concerned about shipping, we have updated our campaign to reflect shipping costs. shipping costs may increase due to circumstances beyond our control, or via the addition of extra copies and items.

Getting Closer!

Less than a week into the campaign, our initial goal is in sight! Thanks to everyone who has pledged already! There’s a lot of campaign left to go, and we still have a ton of cosmic goodness waiting to be revealed.  

Today we're highlighting the Jim Starlin Cosmic Autograph Reward, the first of five unique autograph rewards. Written by Jim Starlin and drawn by Mike Mignola, COSMIC ODYSSEY is a seminal DC Comics saga, a four-issue Prestige Format series that is hailed as one of the pinnacles of cosmic storytelling. Sets of the complete COSMIC ODYSSEY mini-series, autographed by Jim Starlin, are available for a pledge of $200 or more. The pledge level includes both physical and digital copies Black Book: The Art of Jim Starlin and Mindgames making it a colossal value!  

Did You Know:  

Last year Jim Starlin injured his hand in an accident, and is no longer drawing. In fact, it’s quite possible the last piece of art that Jim created is the original cover to Black Book: The Art of Jim Starlin, which is part if the Jim Starlin Collection currently being offered by Ominous Press. Take a good look, there may be something lurking in the shadows.
