Time to reveal another piece of original art for the Jim Starlin Legacy Project!

Today’s contribution comes from Eisner Award-winning cartoonist Joe Staton. Best known for his decades of work on DC Comics characters like Batman, Green Lantern, The Huntress and Justice Society of America.

Joe’s beautiful piece features Vanth Dreadstar’s sidekick Oedi from Jim Starlin’s epic series Dreadstar! Oedi was actually named after a cat that Starlin had at the time he was creating the Dreadstar series.

Hello, everyone. Just wanted to touch base briefly about a change in plans to tomorrow’s impeding Kickstarter Live event with Jim Starlin and Ominous Press Editor-in-Chief Ron Marz. Due to a change in schedule, tomorrow’s Kickstarter Live event will take place at 7 P.M EST rather than the initial 3 P.M. time. We apologize for any confusion and hope that this means more of you can attend, but again, fear not - any questions you have can be left as a comment and we will happily answer as many as we can.

Thank you all for your support. We’ll see you tomorrow!
